The Plus 1 V2 Bolt On Quad kits come complete, fully assembled, ready for a one day installation on your SS. Or, in a much more economical  Basic DIY kit for those with the abilities to assemble the entire rear end components in the prewelded chassis themselves.  The Adjustable Coil Overs and the industries lightest package make for an entirely new ride comparable to that of any high performance automobile . The entire Automotive Racing Industry has known for years that the Unequal length Wishbone Independent  Suspension  (IRS) makes for the best handling , cornering control available and now, all this is available in your Slingshot for not much more money than it may cost you if you are one of the unlucky many who have blown their angle drives. And saying goodbye, to those failing wheel bearings and whiney belt drives isnt going to hurt any bodies feelings either.   The Plus 1 Kit makes it easy to convert your Slingshot  from, a good handling three wheeler to a great handling four wheeler.  

Now available for 2020+  all Prostar Drivelines.  The new Prostar engines from Polaris are a higher revving engine and as such all models come from Polaris with a Lower Gear ratio than the Ecotech predecessors  As Such, a lower geared final drive ratio Camaro differential is required to maintain similar quad conversion performance on the new 2020 +models. The stock gearing on the Polaris Slingshot Prostars 4.88;1 is  25% lower than the Ecotechs to accommodate for the higher revving engine and keep the speeds similar. Therefore,  Premium Camaro differentials with 25% lower gear ratios  are required for the Prostar engines . Where a 3.27;1 was the taller gear ratio when used on the Ecotech , a 3.91;1 is now needed for the Prostar. Consequently where the lower geared 3.45:1 or better yet 3.91:1 was the torque monster for the Ecotech, a 4.1;1 is now needed for the Prostar . These Premium 3.91:1 AND 4.1:1 L.S.D. Camaro Differentials from All Things Slingshot come complete with  Brand New Gear Sets , Bearings and Seals from the High Performance Camaro Aftermarket Industry.

The shipping price is not included in the kit price. It will vary depending on the options selected and your location. We will work to find you the lowest shipping price via YRC Freight, or similar. The Kits will need to be shipped by freight due to the oversized dimensions.  Shipping cost, if requested, is due with final balance of kit, invoiced 7 days  prior to shipping. 

The Plus 1 V2 kits by All Things Slingshot  are manufactured in house ,  free pick up is available at the manufacturing facility (Ontario) ,  Typical shipping costs in  lower 48, $350 to $550 (a $75.00 credit is available for commercial address drops with no hydraulic tailgate drop required, or you can pick up at the depot)

Current shipping times with the V2 have been reduced to 6 to 7 weeks , (7 if powdered)

Powder Coating -The Basic Kit is shipped uncoated. You will need to paint or have the parts powder coated yourself. Alternatively you can choose the powder coat option when you place your order. The Bolt-On Kit will be powder coated and assembled before it is shipped. The default color is gloss black. If you want your kit coated with a custom color, you will need to email us the color code from Prismatic Powders. a second color cost $200 more . (2nd color selection includes shock springs powdered as well ) 

Differential Options

You can go  with the most affordable base 7.6 inch Open differential if you are building a great riding, cruising machine, normally aspirated and are willing to use higher rpm than stock when shifting to accommodate the higher final drive gears. IF YOU ARE BOOSTED AND TUNED, CREATING THE HIGHER TORQUE FASTER TO ACCOUNT FOR THE HIGHER GEARING WITH A 3.27 IS EASIER. If you are normally aspirated you can still use the most affordable Basic kit with the  3.27 (BUT AT THE HIGHER RPM, BASICALLY NEGATING 5TH GEAR, AND A TUNE IS RECOMENDED )   or consider  upgrading to a 3.45 LSD (Limited Slip Diff) rear end which will build torque almost as fast as a stock slingshot (3.63 final drive ) . Various gear options are available for the 8.6 rear ends. By default, all kits include the 7.6 inch differential from the Gen 5 V6 automatic Chevrolet Camaro. It is an open differential with 3.27 gears. Upgrade to a stronger rear end with a limited slip diff by selecting one of the 8.6 inch options. The 8.6 inch rear end is available with used OEM 3.27 (Gen 5 Auto V8 ) or 3.45 gears (Gen 5 Manual V8).  If you are building a seriously competitive , boosted or supercharged Slingshot then you would probably want to go for the lower,  torquier gears of the 3.45 final ratio diffs OR 3.91. All differentials include a 1 year warranty. See our terms for details. Kits with the 7.6 inch rear end include new OEM V6 auto axles. The kits with one of the 8.6 rear end options include new,  Custom Axles.

DIFFERENTIAL SELECTIONS , TORQUE LOST OR MAINTAINED, WITH PROPER TIRE SIZING . (IN A NUTSHELL)  If you stay with the stock OEM size rear tires 305x30x20, On an Ecotech Slingshot a 3.45 Diff selection will result in 5% less bottom end torque. A 3.27 diff selection will result in 10% less torque . On the new Prostar 2020+ Slingshots the stock OEM final drive ratio is much lower to offset the higher revving motor  and selecting the 4.1 Diff will result in  the least bottom end torque lost.

However You can select any differential for either  Slingshot versions and still maintain OEM torgue . We simply go back to our modern day performance car,  or muscle car era, and use the same tire selection criteria as we do there for thousands of vehicles. There, we use the same size rear rims as front , we just go wider on rears, so why not do the same thing on 4 Wheel Slingshots?  IN A NUTSHELL, to maintain stock OEM torque you simply reduce your rear tire diameter by using the more affordable front rims and 18 '' tires. Reducing the overall tire diameter  lowers the EFFECTIVE FINAL DRIVE RATIO. To maintain your stock OEM ecotech final drive ratios and torque, with a 3.45 diff selection, simply use  285x35x18 (nitto 555 or similar) 25.9'' tall rear tires. To maintain your stock OEM final drive ratios and torque with a 3.27 diff selection , simply use 285x30x18 rear tires, 24.7'' tall . Similarly, with the new Prostar 2020+ Slingshots to maintain close to your stock OEM final drive ratios simply use 285x35x18, 25.9'' tall rear tires.

CAUTION- TIRE SIZING -  Larger diameter tires increase the effective final drive  ratio, meaning that they rotate more slowly to cover the same ground and therefore take more power to to get moving because they reduce the mechanical advantage provided by the drivetrain. Therefore we cannot recommend the 3.27:1 final gears (not enough torque available) with 22'' or 24''tire packages as they would effectively be the same as increasing  to a 2.95:1 which would be too tall a gear for use on a Ecotech slingshot,  same proportionately on a Prostar. If you are considering going with taller diameter tires you should use the shortest gears available  4.1:1. ALL FINAL GEAR RECOMENDATIONS ARE BASED ON THE DIAMETER 27 1/4'' of a stock 305x30x20 If you are considering using larger rims you should check the overall outer diameter of your selected tires using the tire comparison charts at http://tiresize.com/calculator and consider the effective final drive WILL REDUCE TORQUE AND POWER. However It may still be  a great looking show machine if that's what you are after. 

Is your Slingshot a 2015 -2016.5 or 2017+ ?    We will have to know if your Slingshot is a 2105 or 2016  as only these years require  different hardware at the  attachment bracket to the original frame design. You will have to notify us of this as the default is 2017 and newer .  

How It Works ,
The Plus 1  kit is a DIY  4 wheel conversion kit for your Slingshot. This means you will install the kit yourself. But don't worry! We've done all of the fabrication and other hard work for you so installing the kit is very simple. no welding, no drilling required.  ** Regional installers will be available soon. The Build Process A Simple Weekend Project  for one guy.                                   Disassemble the rear of your Slingshot to remove the swing arm and angle drive. Bolt the Plus 1 frame and suspension to the rear of your Slingshot. Replace the Slingshot driveshaft with the supplied Plus 1 drive shaft. Connect the Slingshot brake hose, parking brake cable and wheel speed sensor. Bleed the brakes, install the rear wheels and hit the road.

Net Gain, with a 3;27 Open , about 184 lbs, including the O.E.M rim and tire. LSD. (limited slip differentials) may add a few pounds.
