1320 V2 Header And Exhaust Combo

1320 Performance Header and Exhaust combo kit for the Polaris Slingshot. Save money and get both pieces.

Many customers have asked what the difference is between the Version 1 (V1) and the Version 2 (V2). The short answer is the V2 (Version 2) is much stronger. Thicker stainless steel tubing is used on the V2 and 316 Filler Rods on the SS to SS welds. V2 is for the customer that has an aftermarket exhaust system on their Slingshot. Some of those exhaust systems have no hanger or a poorly designed hanger that put a lot of stress on the header which is another reason the Version 2 was created. Another great reason to use the V2 is because many people are going turbo on the stock manifold; The V2 Header is well built to withstand the duty of a Turbo Manifold up to 350 hp.
The stock cast manifold is also ugly, heavy and a performance choke point due to the tiny exhaust and flange ports. Stock manifold collector size is only 1.742 inches our collector is a true 2.5 inches

V2 Exhaust
1320 V2 Performance Exhaust was designed to produce Great low end power all the way to red line while adding an aggressive tone to your SlingShot. The Version 2 exhaust added an adjustable silencer so you can choose how loud or quiet you want your vehicle to be. Our exhausts are constructed with high-quality stainless steel and CNC-machined flanges that accept OEM O-ring gasket. Our Anti-Reversion chamber gets rid of unwanted exhaust gases that travel backwards through the exhaust system when exhaust gas velocity is low and scavenging is minimal. Under those conditions, exhaust gases can enter the intake side, contaminating the combustion process. Our Anti-Reversion chamber keeps exhaust flow moving in the right direction, resulting in a broader power band and more torque. Factory spring mounting bracket to keep the exhaust in an OEM fitment with no modification required. Our exhaust works with OEM Slingshot Manifold and The 1320 Performance Header.
